01. Arrival
You have been sitting and staring at the sign above you for some time now, lost in a blur of swirling questions that seems to start with how you ended up there; in a place (and time, maybe) that you know you weren't an hour earlier. Or maybe you're an old hand at this by now and you've figured out that this is simply another stop that the multiverse bus has made. So why not get off and look around a little?
At any rate, the sign points you towards the direction of a place called "Gazin", which looks like a decent-sized town from where you stand. There has to be someone who can explain.
02. Around Town
So, you've settled in. Well, mostly. At least you know where things are without taking too many wrong turns and ending up in the less desirable areas of town. But now you can go about your day. Visit the market, check out the local shops or have a drink with a new friend at one of several inns.
03. Exploring
You've heard people talk about some pretty interesting places and now you're itching to get out and find them. Be careful though, there are creatures and monsters out there that will be pretty interested in meeting you and may wish to have you for its next meal. Better take someone along. And maybe some weapons, too. Make sure one is made of silver.
04. Monsters
So, you managed to find that location you were looking for. Good for you! Only.. it seems you've also found one of the native creatures to the area and you now face to face with it. Um. Good luck! We'll see you when you get back!
Hopefully.
05. Celebration
It won't take long for you to figure out that people of Gazin are, all in all, pretty happy people. It shows, too, when a seemingly quiet evening suddenly bursts into a random, impromptu party to celebrate whatever good fortune has touched a person. Name Days, good harvests, betrothals, weddings, or just life in general.
Sing, dance, drink and be happy, too!
06. Wild Card!
Want something else? Feel free to choose your own adventure or mix and match to create something completely different!

Mando | The Mandalorian
Mando is used to hopping from world to world, most of them new simply because there are so many of them. Some are more advanced than others, but since he tends to stick to the Outer Rim planets his quarry finds preferable, the worlds he visits tend to be less advanced. Which is fine with him.
Some of them might even have simple wooden signs proclaiming the name of the nearest town. He hasn't been to them all; he doesn't know. What he does know is that this is not an Outer Rim planet, or any other planet he might have been headed to. He knows that because if he had landed on a planet in his galaxy, the Razor Crest would be there, and so would the child. Whatever is going on, it is only affecting him, and that's a problem., now that he knows that whatever's left of the destroyed Empire wants to get their hands on the child.
He can't let that happen.
So after a few moments of staring at the sign reading "Gazin" and assessing the situation, he turns and follows the direction the arrow is pointing. That's the place to start. Towns have space ports, and space ports have ships. That's how he'll get off this planet and back to where he should be.
[Around town]
He's been here for a few days now, been around most of the town, and failed to make sense of any of it. This planet is far behind in development that they don't have land speeders or a space port with even a broken-down heap of junk that can barely leave the atmosphere. His comm system isn't working, either, so he can't get in touch with anyone who could come to help him.
Still, he finds himself frequenting a tavern. That's where he used to meet Greef to get his next job. Maybe this one will be a good place to find a way to make some coin, too.
So he sits there, every day, in full head-to-toe armor and helmet, even leaving his gloves on. This is the way.
03/04. Exploring/monsters
He's heard about the monsters around town, and of course he couldn't resist going out to find some himself. He'd faced a mudhorn, after all, and survived that. (Never mind that he'd had help with the mudhorn, and that particular help is not here right now.)
It hadn't taken him long to find a creature, although he should have been a little better prepared when he did. This creature happens to have a large tail, which should have been a warning. He approaches the creature, which swings its tail at him and sends him flying backward through the air. He lands flat on his back with a grunt. Beskar armor is strong, though, and after a moment to catch his breath and determine that nothing is broken, he's back up on his feet and ready to face it again.
He could probably use some help though. Care to lend a hand?
06. Wild card
Feel free to find him in some other situation made more ridiculous by his shiny armor. :-D
Re: Mando | The Mandalorian
It's only today that Renfri approaches his table, sitting down across from him without waiting for an invitation, and leans forward, elbows propped up on the table.
"Alright, spill," she prompts, grinning a little. "What's with the helmet? Are you secretly green or scaly underneath it?"
no subject
Then there's the creed he swore.
"Would it be a problem if I were?"
He knows people who are green, or scaly, or both. This is just how things are for him.
no subject
"Not for me, no," she says, "but it could make you a little bit more interesting than the usual crowd of locals." Which he is already, truth be told, because she has seen a lot of armors and his is certainly not like anything she has ever seen before.
no subject
Of course, it is hard to have a drink with a helmet on.
"They are all human." Which he is too, even if no one knows that, but the taverns he visit tend to have a much more varied clientele than this. "You would think that whatever is collecting us here would choose a little variety."
no subject
She's still not fully convinced that this entire Gazin place and everyone inside it isn't just a particularly elaborate illusion of Stregobor's, after all. It becomes more and more unlikely the more time passes, and the more of this alleged illusion she explores without finding any flaws, but it's still a chance. It's certainly more likely than her being whisked to safety by mysterious magic.
no subject
"Or we're all here for a reason, the same reason for all of us individual reasons for each, and those reasons only have to do with humans."
That's his theory at the moment. He doesn't know if this is something the Imps could do, but he's certain it's something they would do if it meant they could get their hands on the child.
no subject
Except, of course, the same people who would care about that wouldn't consider her human either. She is a monster in the eyes of Stregobor, something to be slaid like a puck or an elf only even more dangerous, and his ilk would agree. Not that she's planning to tell anyone.
Renfri leans forward again, scrutinizing him. "You sound like you have a pretty good idea who you suspect."
monsters
He pulled his sword free of its place of concealment behind him as he decided to help the other man deal with the beast. Perhaps if he could occupy the creature's attention, it would give the armored man an opening to attack it. He lashed out at the beast, the aim meant more to grab attention than to actually harm for the time being. Once it was focused on him, then his strikes would become more lethal as needed. Until he knew if the other man had sought out the beast for sport or had run afoul of it unintentionally, he'd hold back and merely offer aid in attempting to keep it from sending the other flying again.
