SCENARIOS

01. Arrival
You have been sitting and staring at the sign above you for some time now, lost in a blur of swirling questions that seems to start with how you ended up there; in a place (and time, maybe) that you know you weren't an hour earlier. Or maybe you're an old hand at this by now and you've figured out that this is simply another stop that the multiverse bus has made. So why not get off and look around a little?

At any rate, the sign points you towards the direction of a place called "Gazin", which looks like a decent-sized town from where you stand. There has to be someone who can explain.

02. Around Town
So, you've settled in. Well, mostly. At least you know where things are without taking too many wrong turns and ending up in the less desirable areas of town. But now you can go about your day. Visit the market, check out the local shops or have a drink with a new friend at one of several inns.

03. Exploring
You've heard people talk about some pretty interesting places and now you're itching to get out and find them. Be careful though, there are creatures and monsters out there that will be pretty interested in meeting you and may wish to have you for its next meal. Better take someone along. And maybe some weapons, too. Make sure one is made of silver.

04. Monsters
So, you managed to find that location you were looking for. Good for you! Only.. it seems you've also found one of the native creatures to the area and you now face to face with it. Um. Good luck! We'll see you when you get back!

Hopefully.

05. Celebration
It won't take long for you to figure out that people of Gazin are, all in all, pretty happy people. It shows, too, when a seemingly quiet evening suddenly bursts into a random, impromptu party to celebrate whatever good fortune has touched a person. Name Days, good harvests, betrothals, weddings, or just life in general.

Sing, dance, drink and be happy, too!

06. Wild Card!
Want something else? Feel free to choose your own adventure or mix and match to create something completely different!

Sebastian Carter Hokori-Anderson | OC | Arrival

There is no feeling of panic, just quiet confusion and resolve that this is it, whatever it is. Wherever he is. The sign reads Gazin. He's a bit numb at the moment so Gazin is just as good as anything else he could have wished. Although, he'd never wished to be part of one of his fantasy novels and actually found his wish granted. Not like this. But wishing to be part of a story and wishing to escape are two very different things.

Sebastian has no idea where this path will lead, but he follows it. For now. It can't be worse than where he came from.

Gansey had quickly accepted his new role and the new world he'd found himself in. It was frustrating to be away from his quest, but being spirited away to another realm was the subject of too many legends for his curiosity not to get the better of him. Once he was settled, he'd taken up exploring, which led him to the crossroads and the stranger that seemed to be numbed by shock.

Making sure to make enough noise that he'd be heard, Gansey cleared his throat to make sure that he had the newcomer's attention. "Did you just arrive?"

Sebastian turned at the noise, unsure of what he felt. He blinked and looked up at the sign again. "I think...I've left something behind." He's not sure he's arrived as much as he's run away. "Do you live here? In...Gazin?"

"You've most likely left many things behind." He kept his voice gentle, but he couldn't quite bring himself to lie. Everyone that arrived at the crossroads seemed to have left something - the majority of their lives - behind. "But you're still welcome here."

Stepping closer, he looked at the sign to give the stranger time to compose himself if it was needed. "I do, but I'm not from Gazin. I originally lived in Virginia."

Sebastian half expected to see a Painted Bunting appear on the sign, as if it had followed him here. Or brought him here. But the sign was just a sign. The name unfamiliar. He turned back to watch the stranger and quietly commented, "You're a long way from home."

It occurred to him that he had no idea how far home was and that he was entirely over dressed in his funeral clothes. He touched the forest green scarf wrapped around his neck, "Where is here exactly?"

"We probably both are." He wasn't sure where the newcomer was from, but since he didn't seem to know anything about this world, Gansey assumed that the stranger was from another reality.

Gansey began answering the question, carefully ignoring any signs that the newcomer might be uncomfortable with the situation to try to make him feel more comfortable. He really didn't know that much regarding the 'hows' and 'whys' of their situation, but he could offer what information that he had. "It's not really a bad place, once you're used to it. I miss my car the most." The rest, the conveniences that other transplanted individuals probably wanted, Gansey could live without. "I forgot my manners. My name's Gansey."
