01. Arrival
You have been sitting and staring at the sign above you for some time now, lost in a blur of swirling questions that seems to start with how you ended up there; in a place (and time, maybe) that you know you weren't an hour earlier. Or maybe you're an old hand at this by now and you've figured out that this is simply another stop that the multiverse bus has made. So why not get off and look around a little?
At any rate, the sign points you towards the direction of a place called "Gazin", which looks like a decent-sized town from where you stand. There has to be someone who can explain.
02. Around Town
So, you've settled in. Well, mostly. At least you know where things are without taking too many wrong turns and ending up in the less desirable areas of town. But now you can go about your day. Visit the market, check out the local shops or have a drink with a new friend at one of several inns.
03. Exploring
You've heard people talk about some pretty interesting places and now you're itching to get out and find them. Be careful though, there are creatures and monsters out there that will be pretty interested in meeting you and may wish to have you for its next meal. Better take someone along. And maybe some weapons, too. Make sure one is made of silver.
04. Monsters
So, you managed to find that location you were looking for. Good for you! Only.. it seems you've also found one of the native creatures to the area and you now face to face with it. Um. Good luck! We'll see you when you get back!
Hopefully.
05. Celebration
It won't take long for you to figure out that people of Gazin are, all in all, pretty happy people. It shows, too, when a seemingly quiet evening suddenly bursts into a random, impromptu party to celebrate whatever good fortune has touched a person. Name Days, good harvests, betrothals, weddings, or just life in general.
Sing, dance, drink and be happy, too!
06. Wild Card!
Want something else? Feel free to choose your own adventure or mix and match to create something completely different!
Clark Kent/Kal-El/Superman | DCEU
He'd been stepping out of his meeting with the Sun when he had stumbled and nearly fallen to his knees, feeling dizzy, blurry, and very unsure. When he felt the feeling pass, and looked up, he found himself in the middle of what looked like a barfight being conducted by LARPers.
A bottle hurled at him and he caught it as he staggered up, lifting it out of the way of two men who were fighting, and kicked one, gently, to one side, darting to the other direction as a woman twice his size lifted a table and hurled it toward a person who looked like nothing else but... well, a dwarf out of that weird trilogy of movies.
Clark caught the table, and set it down, then ducked under a man swinging at him, jabbing two fingers just so, and the man's eyes rolled up, sending him slumping into Clark. Clark gently set him into a chair, and stepped past him as well to the bar counter.
The barman was staring with an open mouth at Clark's performance and the first thing out of his mouth, when one thought about it, made sense.
"Stranger, do you want a job?"
Clark blinked, glances around, then laughed. Why not? He was in a weird place, lost, and either delusional or somehow... what? He took a breath, smoothed one hand down his suit as he put the bottle of whiskey down on the bar counter and nodded. Sure.
"I'll take it." And he raised a hand, catching a heavy mug full fo beer that had been hurled at the bartender from across the room with an impact that sounded like metal; striking metal. He raised it, sniffed it, and downed a long swallow. Hmmm, not bad.
The bartender stared, swallowed, and then nodded. "You're hired."
What else was he to do?

2. Bartending
Clark is settling in at this weird town, three days in, now, and as a bartender, a job he knows well, at least, he is finding his feet quickly. He has also noticed a space for someone to own a new farm, and room near another farm to do so, and even asked about it. It would take him time to make money, and earn the renown to be trusted so, but he was working on it.
For now, he worked the bar, his bulk, speed, and calm demeanor making it easier for him to keep the peace here. He had even borrowed a small anvil and bellows, and a large iron pan, and he cooked a little sometimes. A new thing, apparently, here. Plus his crossing of the room had apparently been witnessed by some local bard and been made into a song. Some people still came to see him. Which was silly, he felt, and he regretted, a little, making such a show of it.
But it was work and as he turned to spot another person coming to the counter, he smiled.
"Welcome. What can I get for you?"
bartending
Unfortunately, right now she needs to take care of more basic matters if she is going to find her footing in this odd little town she has found herself in. Getting work with a shipping company will be hard without credentials, so this lively-looking bar is where she goes to.
She sizes up the bartender, giving him a smile that shows maybe a little too much teeth as she leans forward, arms propped up on the counter. "Is this your place?"
Re: bartending
He waves a hand toward the back. "The owner may be around or not. They rarely are. I was hired by another bartender."
He eyes her, nodding. "Can I get you something to drink?"
no subject
"I'll be taking rum, if you have it. If not, whatever sells best here." She taps her fingers on the counters, her eyes wandering through the bar with the critical eyes of someone who has been running a bar for years herself. "I was actually hoping to talk about a job."
no subject
He grins at her.
"Are you willing to work hard, protect the bar's interests, and follow the guidelines of management, whoever they are?"
bartending
She came to the bar every day because at least the bar was somewhat familiar. "Hi, I will have the strongest thing you've got."
Re: bartending
"Be careful of that. It's very strong, miss." He tried not to butt into people's lives here, but he could tell when someone was working on something, and he worried.
Re: bartending
She crinkled her nose at the drink. "It's green," She said, stating the obvious. "What is it?"
Re: bartending
He chuckled, then shrugged. "So far, no one has been able to tell me wha6 it is. But it knocks everyone on their ass."
