fantasy combo breaker (...and a fantasy princess)

Hello, hello! My name's Jen and I'm new here. I'm bringing in two characters because I really couldn't decide between them.

First is Videl from Dragon Ball Z, a modern-era (read: 90s) teenager with sweet martial arts moves and the ability to fly hover a few inches off the ground for a minute or two. She's an abrasive tsundere who will probably just hate everything about this place and I'm sorry for her in advance. orz

But second is Zelda (multidisciplinary) from Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, a fantasy elf princess with acute anxiety disorder who just wants to do science. She is a sweet, shy, beautiful young woman who does her best and wants to make people happy, except she really wants to do science.

I'm so sorry for you being stuck in the low-tech hell age, modern teenage girl. I look forward to seeing her be delightfully tsundere! (I can so sympathize, I would be annoyed in her place, too!) And awww Zelda, I hope she gets the opportunity to do science! Well, medieval science but still, science! Someone please let her do science.

I'm really excited to see how Zelda gets along with all these fantasy China characters (whose canon I'm completely unfamiliar with). The blurb on your profile was really helpful! Zelda's very interested in learning the different properties of flora and fauna and their potential applications as things like medicine and ability enhancing potions.

Videl, meanwhile, will assume this is all fake for awhile and I look forward to people calling her out on her bad attitude.

Glad the blurb on the profile helped! Wen Qing (and Daenerys Targaryen) are working at the apothecary so if Zelda drops in there, she will certainly find someone to talk about herbs with. Qing's still relearning some stuff herself actually since the plants that grow in medieval Europe aren't all the same as in China.

Well first Videl will probably think this is all a crazy dream brought on by the weird boy she met at school. And then when she discovers it's real, she might have a small angry crisis. She's the type of person who thinks that anything that can't be rationally explained is some kind of trick, so this place is going to be very challenging for her. =D

Oooh, an apothecary! Yes, Zelda will be very interested in that! One thing she's likely to do here is start compiling information about all the different plants, animals, minerals, monsters, and such that exist in this world. She has a device that's very similar to a tablet or smart phone which is capable of creating this sort of encyclopedia.

Ooooh! I'm sure that compendium will become extremely helpful to make sense of this new world they are in! Wen Qing will happily share with Zelda what she knows and what she learns about the healing properties of items in this world. Despite cultivators being basically sword-wielding magical ghostbusters, she doesn't like to fight. So she won't be the best person to talk to about the beasties in the forest but I'm sure the more fighty types can help with that.

Haha to be sure, I can't blame Vidal for thinking it's all a really weird dream. Weird dream sure seems more likely than being whisked away to a magic world!
