Announcement
Hey all. I wish I was bringing you an easier announcement but unfortunately, that is not the case and I must let you all know that after 18 months, I am stepping down as the mod of this game.
My vision for Fernweh was a pretty clear one. I wanted to give players a setting that wasn’t widely available on Dreamwidth and offer some fun things to do in the form of plots and events. But, with the pandemic hitting the world shortly after opening our doors, the state of RP for a lot of people (including myself) suffered in many ways and overall traction was lost.
Since stepping down does put the future of Fernweh into question, I am willing to hand it over to anyone currently playing in the game who might want to inject some time and a little love to see it last longer. If you are interested, please send me a message on the mod contact page. I will leave this offer open until August 31st, in which case if there is no interest, the game will be closed permanently on September 1st.
Thank you all! I appreciate every single one of you who gave this little game a chance. I hope to cross paths with you again someday.
