The magic of this world, and even of this other woman's home was still very much unreal to Duo. He lived in a world of science and technology and space travel. Magic shows had always been simple sleight of hand tricks. Creating fireballs in the palm of your hand or shooting lightning from a stick? Excuse him for trying to wrap his mind around it all.

All the same, he took his gaze from the woman and looked out in the direction he knew the ocean to be in.

"Do you think it's possible to go out there to find out? Or do you even want to find out, if...mages are locked away where you're from?" He glanced to the woman to gauge her reaction.
