Kassandra is used to being noticed.

A woman who fights like she does is not terribly common even in Sparta, where women receive an education in the martial arts so that they are as fit and capable as men. Since she left Kephallonia, she's learned just how uncommon she is in the rest of the world. So it's not unusual for her to be watched, and when she eventually notices it, Kassandra doesn't assume her observer has any ill will.

She finishes the circuit she's running, and walks up to one of the targets to start pulling out arrows, giving the other woman a moment to say something, if she wants to.

When she doesn't, Kassandra takes the first step. She's had to learn to take that first step because sometimes it's the only way to land a job.

"I do not believe we have met," she says, her tone light rather than accusatory, and her voice carrying a heavy accent she hasn't heard anywhere else here.
"My name is Kassandra."
